Personal History Alexandria Munro was born in New Chicago on Earth's moon, Luna. Her father died when she was still young, leaving her to help her mom raising her two sisters.

Despite being raised in a household full of women, Alexandria had always been the “tomboy” of the bunch. She liked playing outside, sports and later joined the Lunar soccer team, where she made it to captain. After winning the “Most valuable player” award in 2365, a full interstellar career was within her grasps as she was scouted by a famous Earth club. Alexandria, though, had other things in mind: she wanted to join Starfleet. She ended up being accepted to the Academy in her final year of High School and missed out on the final championship match of the season.

She performed well at the academy, passing all classes, though her leadership skills had yet to mature. She made a name for herself, but more in a sense that her instructors knew to keep an eye on her. Her record speaks of several breaches of conduct: discipline was never her forté.

Despite her wild streak, Alexandria did manage to land a prestigious spot for her cadet cruise: Jean-Luc Picard's USS Enterprise. She worked directly under Lieutenant Worf (and still keeps a picture of them together in her quarters). This year did much to shape her for her future tribulations and Alexandria would often fondly think back to Worf's harsh, but fair teachings.

In 2371 Alexandria was assigned on her first true mission as a full-blown security officer. What should have been a routine mission to intercept a rogue Maquis vessel (with a Starfleet informant on board) ended up as the advenure of a lifetime: Alexandria's ship, USS Voyager, was flung across the universe in the Delta Quadrant by a being known as the Caretaker. A 70-year journey lay ahead of them.

Five years into the mission, Lieutenant Commander Tuvok, chief of security, pleaded for the creation of a special away team to face the dangers of the Delta Quadrant. Endorsed by Captain Janeway, Tuvok put together the Hazard Team from officers who volunteered for the job. Alexandria was made second-in-command of the unit, serving directly under Lieutenant Les Foster.

The Hazard Team did much to ensure Voyager's safety. It turned out to be Alexandria's moment to shine: when Lieutenant Foster was killed in action, she took over command of the Hazard Team. Although Commander Tuvok deemed some of her actions rash and indisciplined, Alexandria proved all who had doubted her leadership skills wrong by guiding the Hazard Team through many a dangerous situation. She was promoted to Lieutenant in the process.

In 2377, Voyager did make it back to Earth and although the joy of returning home was great amongst the crew, inevitably they were split up as they took on various assignments. Much to Alexandria's dismay, though, the Hazard Team was not put into practice in the Alpha Quadrant, but was disbanded. Alexandria ended up teaching small unit tactics at Starfleet Academy.

She stayed there until, in 2380, an old friend appeared: Captain Picard had taken a special interest in the Hazard Team and requested the team be put back together. Much of the old gang was reassigned and served Picard well on a couple of dangerous missions. Alexandria greatly enjoyed working with Lieutenant Commander Worf again, who was now serving as XO aboard the Enterprise.

Alexandria led the Hazard Team for the next five years and earned herself a promotion to Lieutenant Commander. Although she remained the Team's commander, she became increasingly active in the efforts to run the Security department. She outranked most active Security Chiefs (the Enterprise went through several in these years) and served more as a senior advisor.

All good things must come to an end, though. Through her continuing exemplary conduct, inevitably greater things than commanding the Hazard Team were in store for Alexandria. By Picard's recommendation she was accepted into Starfleet Academy's Command Course, which she completed with flying colors. Leaving Lieutenant Telsia Murphy in command of the Hazard Team, Alexandria said goodbye to her old home and departed for her first posting as Executive Officer on the Luna-class vessel USS Aeon, under the command of Captain Estrad Dagan.
